About Hedy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

Hedy is a private-deployment enterprise AI employee. One governed AI employee joins your Feishu, Lark or Slack, answers company questions with citations, writes reports, reviews code and prepares meetings — all running inside your own infrastructure.

Why we built it

A generation of excellent cloud AI-employee products asks the same price beyond the invoice: your knowledge base, credentials and chat history, hosted on someone else's cloud. For a large class of companies — regulated industries, security-first teams, anyone whose data cannot leave the network — that price is too high. Hedy takes the opposite bet: the same job description, deployed on your machines, governed by code you can read.

What we believe

  • Restraint is the product. Anyone can demo an agent that acts. The hard part is an employee that provably does not overstep — and that discipline lives in code, not in prompts.
  • Custody over convenience. Your data stays where you can see it. There are no sub-processors, because there is no our-side to process it on.
  • Governance is auditable. Approvals, allowlists and an append-only ledger are readable by your own security team.

Not to be confused with

Hedy at hedy.one is a self-hosted enterprise AI employee platform. It is not affiliated with hedy.ai (an AI meeting assistant) or hedy.org (a programming language for education).
